Saman Devalaya
Sabaragamuwa Maha Saman Devalaya is located three kilometers away from Ratnapura on the Ratnapura Panadura main road to the main road to the left bank, on the left bank of the Kalu Ganga. Sri Padaya
Due to the historical value of the place, different communities are called by their own name. Buddhist people called the name “Sri Pada” from afar from the very beginning. From 236 BC, this holy mountain is known. It is a word written in Pali language. According to Buddhists, the Lord Buddha has marked his left foot near the summit of Sri Pada. Tamils place their title on the place where their God, Shiva, is marked as the footprint. But other people believe that when Adam enters into the world, his footprint has been marked on the top of the mountain. The land is also called the Butterfly Mountain. This is because they consider butterflies to live in their annual secularization. Sumana Saman says that the place is Samantha Kuta. In addition, Rathnagiri and Swagaroohanam are also known as the Sri Lankan Buddhist monks. But the real right belongs to the Sinhalese Buddhists. It is clear that their 2500 years of history are well-known.
Bopath Falls
Bopath Ella is located in the Ratnapura District of Sri Lanka. The shape of this tower is almost the same as the shape of a leaf, and is called the Bopath Ella. The waterfall of this waterfall is also known as a tourist attraction. According to regional legends, a treasure trove of the Binde Falls has been preserved and the ghosts nearby are in the habit of protecting it.
Sinharaja Forest
The Sinharaja Forest Reserve is a national park in Sri Lanka, located in the south-eastern slope of the central hills of Sri Lanka, 300 to 1170 m in height and 11250 hectares in extent. It has been under international concern, and UNESCO has been designated as a biosphere reserve and a World Heritage site. This untouched hilly rainforest, part of the lowland rainforests of Sri Lanka, was protected from being commercially hampered by incomes. This was another reason for the 1978 landmark as a Biosphere Reserve and a World Heritage site in 1988. The term “Sinharajahana” in the reserve is Sinharaja. Distance to the West from the East to the Reserve. From Colombo – 21 Km South and South to South Seven species are protected species for insects, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals. This is a safe sanctuary.
Pothgul Viharaya
This temple is believed to have been built by King Walagamba, built around the 1st century BC.
Katugus Falls
It is a popular waterfall among the local people located at Mahawalawatta, which is three kilometers from Ratnapura town. Ratnapura Museum
The Ratnapura National Museum is located in the Ratnapura city of Sri Lanka. The Ehelepola Walauwara constructed by the Ahelepola Wijeywardena Wickremasinghe Senevirathna Amarakoon Wasala Panditha Mudiyanse (Ehelepola Nilame) was constructed by the Ehelepola Walauwara Ehelepola for his work.
