British intelligence says Russian troops have completely withdrawn from northern Ukraine.
However, Russian forces continue to fire shells into eastern and southern Ukraine. The Russian military is now advancing south from the Ukrainian city of Aizawl.
Russia’s Crimean spokesman Dmitry Peskov told a news conference that Ukraine’s forces had suffered significant casualties in the fighting.
