US President Donald Trump says Iran has made “a huge mistake” by hitting a US-led defense reconnaissance plane near the Strait of Homs.
However, he told reporters that it could have been a human error.
“It’s hard to believe it’s something that was deliberately done,” he added.
US President Donald Trump on Thursday approved the attack on Iran as a unification, but has since reversed that decision.
Iran says it has entered the airspace and the US refuses.
The unmanned American plane was attacked while the tensions between the two countries were growing.
