Aircraft and ships carrying first aid supplies have left for the tsunami-hit state of Tonga.
The planes and ships carrying the essential goods sent by New Zealand and Australia are scheduled to arrive in Tonga today (20), foreign media reported.
The ash from the eruption has disrupted major Tonga airport operations, and the aid planes have left the country after the runway was restored.
Tonga was hit hard by a tsunami caused by an explosion on the seabed last Saturday.
It has been confirmed that three persons have been killed so far.
