There is hardly anything on this planet that is as dynamic as politics. At least the weather can be said to be more stable than politics. It only takes a few moments to break down and rebuild relationships based on power.
During his three-day official visit to Russia, the Chinese president provided some good examples. Although China is a significant power in today’s world, in the past it was merely an isolated giant with a high population density. It was America and Russia who raised the world champion. The two countries competed to rule the world.
There were fair and unjust acts. In short, the moon was a rivalry between the two countries. In the aftermath of the collapse of the socialist Soviet Union, the United States was left to wreak havoc in some parts of the world.
The sleeping giant China. But many countries, including the United States, did not think that this giant would wake up and become the world’s number one superpower. The United States has seen signs of a dreadful dream come true. The US-led Western bloc has now confirmed that China cannot stop being the world’s number one power. And that is not the case with the United States alone. Similarly, Russia’s Putin regime, which is often even more powerful in world politics, is no doubt aware of China’s future.
As the Trump administration in the US launches toy guns such as trade wars to halt China’s advance, Russia has taken a leap in world politics and extended its ally toward China. The Chinese President’s visit to Russia is also an extension of that. Among the highlights of the visit were the Russian-made agreements with Huawei’s Chinese mobile phone company that imposed US sanctions. In fact, it is a case of Russia and China collaborating against the US.
US-dominated Western countries banned Mobile phones are undoubtedly causing a serious short-term loss to the Chinese company. But in spite of all this, China opened up the Russian market for the mobile phones with global political objectives under their belt. Clearly, this is not just a mobile phone sale. Therefore, the US should understand that China is not in a position to stop the sale of cell phones by making child threats.
Russia showed and practiced leftist politics to the world. It was also a historic left-wing route to China. Today, both countries are heading in the opposite direction to the American road, though they are not in direct left. Russia, too, did not pay much attention to China when it faced the American camp alone during its years as a sleeping giant. But now it is clear that the common agreement of the two countries is for the common enemy.
Chinese President Xi Jinping said in Russia that Putin is his best friend. Prior to the visit, Chinese President Xi Jinping’s official visit was rare, but the Chinese President said that he had met the leaders of both countries about 30 times before the visit. In his speech, the Chinese president made it clear that he was seeking Russian friendship with dignity. In the meantime, he has faced street protests in Britain by US President Donald Trump, who was recently named as a long-time friend of the United States. So while the Chinese base is making new and powerful friends, America is faced with the rejection of its best and most powerful friend ever.
The United States, in particular, President Donald Trump, will have to deal with the realization that tomorrow’s political decisions will be made before the world leadership.
This close friendship between the two Sino-Russian leaders will undoubtedly lead to a new path in world politics and world trade. China and Russia are set to connect in the near future with a pipeline currently underway. The pipeline is to be deployed from China to Russia through Siberia and is expected to be completed this year. It is a $ 400 billion project.
In terms of trade, Russia buys consumer goods from China and China buys raw materials and machinery from Russia. China is Russia’s largest customer and, on the Chinese side, Russia is China’s 10th largest customer. In 2017, China’s direct investment in Russia exceeded $ 140 million. These investments will undoubtedly grow in the coming years. All of this deserves serious attention in America. Otherwise, the concentration of world leadership power in the future will be inevitable.
