Punjab beat Kings XI by eight wickets in the Indian Premier League (IPL) at Edgbaston on Friday.
Chasing a target of 177 runs, Punjab managed to score just two runs in just 8 balls. Rahul’s unbeaten 71 came off just 57 balls with six fours and six sixes.
Rahul smashed 53 runs in 44 balls with Chris Gayle (40 not out), with New Zealander (43) off the bowling of Ajantha Mendis (64) and Panjha (60).
Gayle, who hit 24 fours in his 24-ball innings, decorated his innings with three sixes and four fours. In the game, the sixth hit included IPL.
He was also the player who made 300 hits in the history of the game. Aggaral, who hit 21 sixes in his 21-ball innings, made six sixes and two fours in his innings.
