The Moderna vaccine has been approved by the Board of Experts of the American Food and Drug Administration for use as a booster for risk groups.
With its unanimous approval, the Moderna vaccine can be taken as an additional dose 6 months after taking the usual coronavirus doses.
Accordingly, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is due to make its final recommendation on whether to provide it to its citizens.
Meanwhile, foreign media reported that the price of the modern vaccine has increased by about 3% with the new approval.
Earlier, the United States approved the use of the Pfizer vaccine as a booster vaccine.
