The Danish Prime Minister has told the people in her New Year’s message that by the year 2030, all domestic flights will be free of fossil fuels, using Non-renewable resource, renewable energy and carbon offsets.
Danish Prime Minister Mete Frederickson is trying to move towards a green economy. As a first step, the Prime Minister has explained that the country’s domestic aircraft will be free of fossil fuels.
‘Creating a green economy is not easy. It’s a challenge. But we, the domestic airlines, are preparing to face that challenge. That is a matter of happiness. We will be able to overcome that challenge, ”she added.
Denmark is a Scandinavian country. Many Scandinavian countries have already begun a number of initiatives to move towards a green economy.
Sweden, a Scandinavian country, has said it expects to have not only domestic but also international flights without fossil fuels by 2045.
