Authorities in the Indian state of Maharashtra have taken steps to impose a night curfew, citing the potential threat posed by a new strain of the new corona virus that is spreading in Britain.

All passengers arriving from Europe or the Middle East must be quarantined at the Mumbai airport and all of them must be PCR. Airport officials also said that investigations should be carried out.
Mumbai is also home to one of the largest slums in Asia.
Meanwhile, Indian media reported today that a plane carrying passengers from Britain had reached Mumbai before the flight was canceled.
