2 km of the Balangoda-Bandarawela highway. Walking through the pond 15 km from the Nanpherial junction that goes to the Nanpilar Estate to the left and the small lane traverses the beauty of the lower part of the Nanthiaryl and the Horton Plains. A small cascading waterfall can be seen coming up the HirikitOoya River valley.
