NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg has stated that Russia’s military action against Ukraine is not in line with its rules, according to its website.
Underlining NATO’s commitment to establishing peace in the European region, the UN Secretary-General has further stated that Putin’s war strategy will affect the whole of Europe. He said US warplanes had been deployed around the clock to protect NATO countries, and that NATO, as a security organization, had no interest in intervening in a conflict with Russia.
He thanked Polish President Andrzej Duda for allowing thousands of refugees fleeing Ukraine to enter his country.
