NATO has held a massive military exercise in Norway 30 years later to reflect its military might.
Called Operation Cold Response, the exercise involves a force of 39,000 troops, 50 warships and 200 fighter jets. The Pyrrhines of Wales, an aircraft carrier from Britain, has also joined this massive military exercise. The exercise was conducted 200 km from the Russian border.
28 countries have participated in this exercise. The exercise was conducted under the command of Rear Admiral Mike Dowley. Four Marines were killed when an American Ospyder crashed while participating in the exercise.
It has been revealed that the American aircraft was engaged in a training operation.
