According to new statistics released yesterday (07), the total number of newborn babies in Japan last year was 9, 18,397.
It is said that it is a two-and-a-half figure relative to 2017.
Commenting on this, Prime Minister Shinzo Abei said that the decline in the population ratio is a serious social problem.
The Japanese Prime Minister has said that immediate action should be taken to restore it.
