Italian health officials warn that the country could face a major catastrophe if the country is not closed soon in the wake of the Covid-19 epidemic.
Walter Ricciardi, an adviser to the country’s Ministry of Health, points out that the Covid epidemic is currently at high risk in Italy.
He was speaking after statistics revealed that the death toll from the Covid-19 epidemic in Italy this year could be the highest in a year since World War II.
