Match referee Richie Richardson has ruled that England’s captain Oin Morhom has been fined 40% off a match and a match fee in the third ODI against Pakistan at the Bristol Downs in 2 hours. Sri Lanka will lose the fourth ODI against Pakistan.
England won the ODI series 5-0.
Pakistan scored 358 runs in 50 overs, in reply to England’s 6 wickets in 31 overs. Referee Richie Richardson decided to pay this fine and a penalty fee in accordance with Section 2.22.1 of the International Cricket Council Rules after a further 2 overs submissions.
Ojn Morgan was sentenced in a one-day series against West Indies in February against a number of overnights. It is also the second time that Morgan has been punished during a 12-month period. The rest of the 10 players who played in the third ODI and 20% of the match fee will be fined.
