Danish Prime Minister Matteo Frederickson has been fined by authorities for violating a law making it mandatory to wear a face mask when entering public places.
Last week, the Danish government made it mandatory for people to wear face masks when entering the public corridor and on public transport services in the face of the spreading corona epidemic. Four days after the law was introduced, on Friday (03) the Danish Prime Minister violated the law by posting a video of her going to a shop without a face mask and publishing it on her website.
The Prime Minister had to submit to this fine. The Danish Prime Minister has apologized to the public for going to the shop without wearing a face mask. “Such a mistake can happen to anyone, but it should not happen to me,” she said.
