Canada authorities are concerned about banning the use of plastics.
Canada is planning to ban the use of plastic only once by 2021.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau informed the public that the government was ready to take such a step.
The European Union passed a similar bill in parliament last year.
At present, only 10 percent of the plastic in Canada is recycled.
The Prime Minister of Canada points out that this is a global challenge.
Last May, the United Nations signed an agreement with 180 countries on measures to reduce the use of plastics.
Canada is among those countries.
With Canada’s move, one-time use of plastics will be banned in the future.
