Foreign media reported on a rally in Colombia to explain the value of breast milk.
It was organized in conjunction with World Breastfeeding Week.
A special program to encourage mothers to breastfeed was held in Bogot බො, Colombia.
There, 2000 mothers took to the streets, breastfeeding their children, and a mother pointed out the value of feeding the baby.
The breastfeeding event was named the Parque des Los Novios.
They made slogans calling for breast milk and to educate the public.
According to WHO reports, breast milk has been identified as the most important nutritional medium for a baby.
The report further states that as children grow older, they develop strength and mental strength.
However, according to a 2015 survey by the Colombian government, only 36 percent of babies under the age of six breastfeeding regularly.
This is a decrease of 10 percent compared to 2005.
The period from August 1 to 07 is called World Breastfeeding Week.
