Boeing Max 737 to be re-launched
However, there are further doubts regarding the aircraft.
Boeing Chief Executive Officer Dennis Muilenburg says the company will rejoin the controversial Max 737 aircraft this quarter.
He says the software-upgraded Max 737 has completed 700 training flights.
The company is also providing specialist training to its staff, he said.
In October 2018, 737 Maxes crashed in Indonesia and five months later in Ethiopia.
The crashes, which killed 346 people, were identified as malfunctions.
As a result, many countries around the world have discontinued use of these aircraft, and Boeing is facing a severe crisis.
Boeing’s CEO says he expects the Max 737 to be reunited in the event of another crisis.
In just seven days, 165 Boeing 737 NG aircraft have seen cracks.
The US Federal Aviation Administration has ordered an investigation into the matter.
