An emergency number has been introduced for the convenience of passengers arriving at Katunayake Airport and Mattala Airport, Sri Lanka Air Force said.
This was disclosed at a media conference held at the Defense Ministry premises this evening (21).
Accordingly, the airmen could contact the 116 numbers to obtain the necessary information.
Steps have been taken to strengthen the security of the airport.
The Air Force also requested the air passengers to return their air ticket and tickets to the Security Forces and return to the airport for a photocopier of about 3 hours.
