Meteorologists said that the hurricane Fonny entered the city of Puri in the eastern Odessa region of India.

Six aircraft, seven helicopters and seven combat ships have been prepared for emergency services, Indian officials said.
Considering the prevailing situation, a request has been made by doctors and other health workers not to seek leave on the 15th of May.
Meanwhile, authorities issued warnings for Andra and the state of Tamil Nadu, which are located near Odisha, in the eastern coast.
