Phoenix has sent thousands of people to the East coastal areas of India due to the hurricane.
It is reported that the storm will travel about 200 kmph an hour on the Indian state of Orissa.
Indian authorities have suspended operations in several major ports including the two ports.
It is reported that around 800,000 people have been sent to safe houses.
