The Rwandan genocide is considered one of the most inhumane crimes against humanity in world history.
It has been celebrated for twenty five years and has organized many celebrations in the country.
The commemoration event was organized to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the ruthless massacre of the Rwanda.
It is estimated that in the 1994 genocide in Rwanda eight hundred people were killed.
President Paul Koghame and international representatives were present at the event.
Among them are European Commission President Sean Claude Yanker and Prime Minister of Belgium Charles Milchell.
The commemoration ceremony took place at the Gisoke Memorial Premises.
The bodies of 2,50,000 who were killed by the genocide have been buried in the site.
