The comparative scoring of Sri Lanka’s only 3 boundaries and to Pakistan’s 5 and 3 sixes were margins that their opponents won the day fronted by skipper Fatima Sana’s top score of 30 off 20 balls tucked with 3 boundaries and a six.
It was to make the big difference small as it was in taking Pakistan to that final score having taken strike low down at No 7. Sana’s all-round effort won the day for Pakistan and the Player of the Match award in what was Pakistan’s first win from the last four outings in stopping a high riding Sri Lanka on a crest wave of success having won 22 of their 32 games.
