The sudden military offensive in Ukraine has completely disrupted the lives of the country’s civilian population. They began to fight against Russian forces invading their capital, armed as much as they could. There were many special characters among the Ukrainians who took up arms in this way. Among them was a beauty who had never touched a firearm.
She is Anastasia Lena. Anastasia, who was crowned Miss Ukraine in 2015, represented Ukraine in several beauty pageants that year, including Miss World. Since then she has been involved in various social work activities and took up arms for the country at a time when Ukraine needs national heroes.
She posted a few photos of herself posing with the latest firearm on her Instagram page, saying “everyone who trespasses on their country’s borders is an aggressor.” She also wrote on her Instagram page that the Ukrainians were trying to kill everyone who entered.
Her photo as well as her presentation received a lot of response from people around the world and she used her Instagram page to encourage people in her country as well.
As the day drew to a close last Saturday, she re-wrote on her Instagram account, “I think our people are fighting so well that NATO will soon apply to join Ukraine.”
Earlier, the Ukrainian president called on NATO to include his country in NATO, but NATO did not respond favorably. However, encouraging her warring people, Anastasia said that the strong Ukrainian people did not need NATO assistance.
In addition, she posted videos on her Instagram account showing her head of state encouraging soldiers to join the war, calling her head of state a “truthful and strong leader.”
As her Instagram account grew in popularity, several Ukrainian universities merged with her account to declare support for Ukraine.
Although Anastasia is a lonely woman, she has managed to manipulate her popularity as a beauty queen in a way that is most needed in her country at the moment. Due to the tens of thousands of other brave Ukrainians like her, the Russian army has so far been unable to capture any of the country’s major cities.
