Ex-soldiers have being urged to rejoin the Ethiopian army by the Ethiopian government.
According to accounts from abroad, the Tigris has been urged to rejoin the army in order to combat the insurgents.
Insurgents are apparently heading for Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa.
Due to the security situation, the US embassy has advised US citizens to leave the country immediately.
Foreign reports, on the other hand, said that Prime Minister Abi Ahmed had created coalitions with nine anti-government groups within hours to deal with the crisis.
