Foreign doctors report that many doctors in Indonesia have died due to the corona virus.
In the first 17 days of this month alone, 114 doctors died of the virus. The deaths are said to be due to the rapidly expanding delta variety in Indonesia.
The Indonesian Medical Association states that the total number of doctors who died due to the virus was 545. However, about 95 percent of the country’s health care workers have received both doses.
The association further states that the health sector is currently unable to control the rapid spread of the virus in Indonesia.
