That was when a coroner at the news office building was diagnosed with a virus.
A worker at another building in Manila has infected the virus, foreign media reported.
As a precautionary measure, CNN has suspended broadcasting for 24 hours and sterilized the office. The agency has taken action.
So far, 187 new cases of coronavirus have been identified in the Philippines, and the government has banned people from many areas from leaving their homes except for essential work.
