A cargo ship carrying more than 14,000 sheep crashed in the waters off Romania’s near-sea coast, and has been rescued.
The vessel, known as Queen Hind, was heading south to the port of Constanta on the Black Sea when it departed Midida.
At least 22 Syrian sailors have been rescued, while Romanian police, Coast Guard and the Navy are carrying out rescue operations.
In the meantime, about 30 sheep have swam to shore, but many are believed to have been drowned.
