Russia and China have conducted joint aerospace exercises for the first time in history.
The move comes in response to yesterday’s South Korean air strike targeting a Russian plane.
South Korea recently launched a firing squad targeting Russian aircraft.
The air strikes were carried out as the aircraft violated their airspace, they added.
Russia rejected South Korea’s statement saying that none of its aircraft had been attacked.
However, Russia has decided to launch an aerospace exercise with China over the Japanese Sea and the East China Sea, exacerbating the situation.
This is the first time in history that Russia and China have conducted a joint air exercise.
According to Russia, four bombers and several fighter jets have been deployed for the mission.
In response, both South Korea and Japan have said that they are planning to launch some of its fighter jets.
South Korea was attacked by Russian aircraft after flying over the island of Dokdo-Takeshima.
However, Japan, Russia and South Korea have both issued statements condemning them.
They say Takeshima Island belongs to them.
According to Japan, Russia has overrun its airspace.
As a result, Russian peacekeepers are at risk of peace in the region.
