With the onset of the monsoon, floods have hit the north and northeast of India.
Four states close to Nepal have reportedly been affected by the situation.
After nearly 72 hours of rain, many rivers in the region have left.
Many crops have been flooded and many roads have been blocked by floods.
Some people who have been affected by inclement weather are currently housed in makeshift tents.
Authorities have also launched an operation to rescue people trapped in flood waters.
Meanwhile, a couple in Bihar’s state had to board a ferry when the highway was inundated.
