World’s First Luxury Shipping Ship Launches Power
Roald Amundsen, who made her maiden voyage from Norway, can carry 500 passengers.
The hybrid vessel is designed for use in difficult weather conditions.
Basically used as naval gasoline fuels, the vessel generates the power generated by the cells of the ship, which can sail for 45 minutes.
It reduces the amount of fuel consumed for the entire trip, and blocks carbon dioxide emissions by about 20 percent.
The company already intends to build and use more of these vessels and hopes to ship them to shipping lanes.
Another hybrid vessel has been ordered and will be delivered by the end of the year, the company said.
It is said to have twice the power of a Roald Amundsen ship.
