It was an Ethiopian girl who faced the exam in half an hour and got a job
Ethiopia reported a mother who was examined after 30 minutes of childbirth.
Almaz Derese, 21, of Metu, in western Ethiopia, was awaiting trial before childbirth. However, due to the Ramadan festival, the secondary school examination was postponed.
On Monday (June 10), she was admitted to the hospital after the exam started shortly before the exam started.
Almeas Derez said that bearing up childbearing was not an obstacle to education, and that he did not want to go back in another year.
On Monday, she faced the English, Ethiopian-language Amharic and Mathematics question papers, and was scheduled to go to the exam hall for the remaining two days.
“Because of my hurry to take the exam, raising a child was not difficult at all,” she told the BBC.
Tadese Tulu, the husband of Almaz Derez, said the school was allowed to write the exam from the hospital.
It is common among Ethiopian women to resume education at secondary school level and resume education shortly thereafter.
After these exams, Almas Derez hopes to complete the two-year course to enter the university.
She said she had passed the exam and was happy with her newborn baby.
