Thirty years in the Tiananmen massacre
A ceremony was organized to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Tiananmen massacre in Taipei, Taiwan.
It was attended by hundreds of foreigners, foreign media reported.
30 years have passed since the assassination of thousands of people including thousands of demonstrators who staged a protest in Tiananmenmen Square, Beijing demanding a democratic change.
A ceremony was also held in the capital, Taipei, Taiwan.
Many Taiwanese people gathered for the Liberty Square.
The event was also a tribute to the mothers of the dead who died in the Tiananmen massacre.
The Vice President of Taiwan requested from China to end human rights abuses immediately.
He also urged the Thai people to protect the democratic freedoms that he extended.
