Pakistan will host the next Asian 2020 Cricket World Cup. This decision was taken at a meeting held at the Asian Cricket Council headquarters in Singapore.
Accordingly, the Asian Cup will be held in September before the World T20 in Australia next October.
Representatives from cricket teams in India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan participated in the event.
The 2018 Asian Cup and the Twenty20 World Cup will be held next year and the 2020 Cricket World Cup as a Twenty20 tournament.
The President of the Pakistan Cricket Board, Ezaman Mani and the Managing Director Wasim Khan participated in the meeting.
India won the last Asia Cup Tournament, while Bangladesh became the runners up.
