Sadly, when considering the slightest deterioration in Mercury contamination through Amalgam, the dental theaters in Sri Lanka do not have any refining in the US. Amalgam for the environment with dental fillings is released directly to the drainage system.
While there are tools to separate mercury in some theaters and theaters (Amalgam), in Sri Lanka there is no systemic hazardous waste disposal system to exclude mercury. Of the government hospitals, no dental care is used by the main dental institutions around Colombo. There is no measurement of the amount of mercury released to the environment.
Also, personal dentists and some school dental clinics do not use amalgam. The use of amalgamation is currently done in local government hospitals and some school dental clinics.
