The Civilization Convocation Forum in Beijing began today (15) morning.
Heads of state and leaders of Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Greece, Singapore, Armenia and the Heads of Mongolia, as well as UNESCO Directors, including UN Directors.
The Asian Civilization Exchange and the Common Future Community Conference attracted 47 Asian countries and youth from Asia, academics, government officials and members of the UN.
Addressing the Asian Civilization Dialogue Conference today, Chinese President Xi Jinping said that economic and technological strength needed to cope with the common challenges of the nation, while cultural and civilization forces are essential.
He said that a platform to promote exchange and mutual learning between the Asian Civilization Dialogue Summit, Asia and other countries in the world is a good opportunity.
He said that the Asian people should strive to achieve the aspirations of life.
China is willing to support the Asian Development Promo Plan with the other countries and expand the friendship between Asian people and the Asian Development Community, he said.
Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena is also present at the event.
