It is reported that about nine people in the Himachal state of North India have died. Most people who died were traveling in other parts of the country. Others were injured.
Landslides have been reported in the Himachal area and a bridge has also been broken.
Due to the heavy rains caused by the monsoon, the floods of Maharashtra state of Western India emerged and 136 people died. Hundreds of villages have collapsed due to flooding. Prime Minister Narendra Mudi has condolences to families who were affected.
