
The oldest tortoise in Africa, the tortoise, has died.
Foreign media reports that the 344-year-old Alagba has been ill for some time.
It is said that the royally owned Alagba Iba lived in the palace of King Jimoyouwenmi in Ogbomosho, South-eastern Nigeria.
It is reported that a large number of tourists from all over the world come to see the tortoise and the royal staff has been assigned to take care of the tortoise.
